This huge statement ring is inspired by the painting entitled ‘Circe Invidiosa’ by Waterhouse (above). The blue and green jewel-like colours of the painting have been reflected in the emerald gemstones, whilst the shimmering green-blue opal depicts the magic of the potion that Circe is pouring into the water. The watery theme has been continued underneath the ring, in the form of ‘bubble’ patterns. The ring contains a generous amount of 18 carat yellow gold, which gives the piece a quality, weighty feel.
