This pendant is inspired by the beautiful and magical upward-curved rooftops of East-Asia. It comprises three architectural layers; a rooftop of rubies, a surround of decorative overhanging eaves, and a gallery foundation at the base. The gold ‘mount’ has been made entirely from hand, and the gemstones are lovely quality, pink-red rubies, which look stunning against the gold. The three dimensional shape of the piece creates a lot of visual movement (see video), making this a stunning statement pendant.
